Retail Attendant - The Sanctuary Hotel / Part-Time

The Sanctuary Retail Attendant is responsible for providing unparalleled customer service in a 5 Star Hotel. The attendant will be working in one or more of our three shops in the Sanctuary hotel. We are looking for someone who is available to work two shifts per week. Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Ability to assist guests by maintaining complete knowledge of scheduled daily events, resort outlet hours of operation, and complete knowledge of all products available in the Retail Outlets.
• Ability to serve guests, arranging merchandise, processing transactions, returns and exchanges, maintaining a clean workstation, and complying with our Forbes 5 Star Standards.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized shops, as well as all cages and storage rooms in shops.
• Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Deliver service in a consistent, personalized, and gracious manner.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma, prefer college degree in hospitality/retail.
• Experience in retail operations and merchandising skills are necessary.
• Should have strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be computer proficient with a POS system.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods on your feet.
• Must be able to bend, stretch and lift over 50lbs.
• Possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful, hurried environment.
