What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant position at Kid's Country?
Our Teacher Assistants/Floaters are to assist the Lead Teacher in the classroom. They must have a warm and friendly personality. Be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and be able to relate well to children.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
· Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest center and preparing needed materials and supplies
· Supervise the classroom when the teacher is not present
· Assist with cleaning duties
· Maintain professional attitudes and loyalty to the program at all times
· Treat all children with dignity and respect
· Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs
· Establish and maintain good, open and effective communication with parents and other staff
· Maintain confidentiality of children, parents and fellow staff members
· Maintain professional attitude and loyalty to the center at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
