We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Observe and assess children's developmental progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support each child's growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing appropriate classroom management techniques.
- Incorporate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive development.
- Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early learning frameworks.
- Must get a fingerprint card
- Experience working with students in a preschool setting or similar environment is highly desirable for at least 1 year
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required
- Ability to get food handlers card within 2 weeks of starting date
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Experience as a nanny or caregiver for young children is beneficial for at least 1 year
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
