Overview At Kid Stop, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for infants and toddlers. Our mission is to foster the growth and development of young children through engaging activities, individualized care, and a strong emphasis on social, emotional, and cognitive development. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and cooperation among peers.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide care for toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and ensuring their overall comfort.
- Administer first aid as necessary and maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is essential.
- Strong skills in caregiving, behavior management, and classroom management are required.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $18.20 - $21.00 per hour
