The Operations Analyst will work with business leaders across multiple functions to identify and drive improvement opportunities. The candidate will analyze business data to lead and drive projects with internal and external partners to improve business metrics such as revenue assurance, forecast accuracy, on time shipment, cost improvement, quality improvement, customer returns reductions, etc. This person will also prepare functional reports of performance metrics to business leaders in quality, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, etc.
This individual will assist in scaling analytics and reporting capabilities across teams to ensure best practices can be followed and repeated for speed and efficiencies; and work closely with the analytics team and the reports teams to automate dashboards and reporting to further support operations analytics.
Candidate must be customer-focused, proactive, and possess a strong bias toward action to dive in and help solve problems and tackle new challenges. Finally, strong communication and teaching skills are required to guide internal and external partners.
Role Purpose :
- Improve efficiency, productivity, speed, and quality through reporting and advanced analytics by :
- Creating and maintaining operations reports.
- Performing operations and trend analysis.
- Developing recommendations to address challenges and opportunities.
- Interpreting data and presenting findings.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver consistent, detailed, and accurate analysis of operations performance across functions.Support the implementation of SIOP process across the enterprise to achieve required demand, supply and capacity forecast accuracy and other critical metrics for the business.Support Product Quality through tracking and analysis of RMAs, warranties, and claims.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and integrate forecast solutions into supply chain processes related to supply and demand planning.Analyze large data sets to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements.Measure key performance indicators for our products.Identify insight and opportunities for product improvement by analyzing product usage data, call center data, customer feedback, ratings and reviews, etc.Analyze product quality and product safety data and bring forth reporting and insightsExtract and analyze complex data sets using statistical techniques and data manipulation tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.Track customer-level performance against key KPIs and identify gap closing tactics.Present finding and insights through clear and concise data visualization, charts, reports, and presentations.Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree.3 years of experience in Data Analytics.3 years of experience with Excel.2 years Power BI and data management.1 year experience with ERP and MRP systems.Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.Preferred Qualifications : (assets)
