Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Utilize experience working with students to create engaging and educational classroom activities
- Implement effective classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Prepare students for standardized testing and academic success
- Collaborate with team members on lesson planning and curriculum development and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Create engaging activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for students
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • CDA accepted (needs to be valid for 2 yrs post expiration, upon hire )
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.

  • Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.

Skills:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to educate and engage students of different ages and abilities
- Experience in care for young children is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must meet all state and local licensing requirements for the position.
  • Candidates must pass all state medical requirements and have a clear background check to qualify or continue for employment.
  • All employees must receive the required amount of training hours each calendar year per state licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to lift children without any personal medical restrictions up to 50lbs.

- CDA
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience in childcare or education
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners
- Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plusResponsibilities
