Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the overall development of students. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting the welfare of children in a nurturing atmosphere. Experience with Montessori methods and working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
- Establish daily routine that incorporates meal times, learning, potty training and play.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies.
- Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment that prioritizes child welfare.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in preschool or early childhood education.
- Strong skills in classroom management.
- Ability to engage students actively in their learning process.
- Knowledge of child development principles and behavior management techniques.
- CDA Certificate is a plus
- 45 Hour DCF Training Preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking is a plus

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
