Child Care Worker

Kiddie Korral Child Development Center has been in business for 45 years and has
two beautiful locations in the Sandusky area. Our mission is to provide children
with love, acceptance, guidance and control over all avenues of their lives while
promoting a safe, affordable setting with a family-oriented atmosphere. In 2019
we were voted Best Daycare in Erie County.
Kiddie Korral is currently looking for experienced lead and assistant teachers for both locations. Experience is preferred but not required.
Educational requirements include a high school diploma; any further education or
certifications should be presented at time of interview.
Candidate must be able to clear BCI & FBI background checks and a background
check for Child Care Child Welfare Information System.
One should be able to complete JFS 02196 Employee Medical Statement for Child
Care.
Responsibilities include:
 Following all Kiddie Korral policies, State Licensing and SUTQ, Health
Department & CACFP rules and regulations
 Complete weekly lesson plans that meet SUTQ standards and are approved
by State Licensing
 Manage Children in large or small groups
 Actively engage in activities to promote positive teacher-child interactions
 Assist in the implementation of preschool activities and encourage
participation by children.
 Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order and availability of
classroom materials.
 Complete nightly cleaning/closing duties.
 All other duties assigned by Director of Child Care

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time available

Center is open 6:30 am- 5:30 pm Monday- Friday (No Weekends) Closed all major
holidays

Schedule: 8 hour shifts

Free childcare while working.

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
