Early Childhood Music Teacher Job at Kiddos and Kin in Washington

Kiddos and Kin is seeking a new part-time educator to teach Kindermusik for their Top Program! We're looking for a traveling instructor with a passion for early childhood education and music. All Kiddos and Kin teachers must have (or be pursuing) a formal education in music and / or education and possess strong vocal skills. Our teachers need to have lots of wonderful energy and enthusiasm and be GREAT communicators! That high-energy and a positive attitude must be balanced with current knowledge of early childhood development.

In order to teach Kindermusik for Kiddos and Kin, new hires must enroll in Kindermusik International's licensing program which includes a brief practicum, as well as participate in Kiddos and Kin ongoing mentoring and training. Most of this can be completed online, with in-person practicum taking place in Kent, Renton or Tacoma.

This is a part-time contract position, primarily teaching outreach classes in preschools within a 20-mile radius of Seattle. Current priority in Renton and Everett, though we have sites in Kent, Seatac, Tacoma, and Gig Harbor that are currently staffed and are available for substitute hours, if desired.

Applicants must be highly independent and reliable. A background check is required as part of licensing. Pay starts at $35 an hour for outreach. All instruments and supplies provided.
