Family Preservation Clinical Services Supervisor - Child Welfare

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Services Supervisor assists in the management and oversight of the daily operations of the Health Plan contract along with the LLC of Kids Central, Inc. Community Behavioral Health Approach. The Supervisor provides guidance to the staff within the Health Plan contract, included but not limited to: Children’s Mental Health Specialists, Nurse Care Coordinator(s), Behavior Specialist and Health Coordinator Data Specialist. The Supervisor reviews all Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments (CBHA) prior to submission and submits claims to the Health Plan for reimbursement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides supervision to staff under the Health Plan contract which includes but are not limited to: Children’s Mental Health Specialists, Nurse Care Coordinator(s), Behavior Specialist and Health Coordinator Data Specialist
• Ensures the behavioral and physical health services are delivered according to contract requirements
• Ensures all other contractual requirements of the contract with the Health Plan are adhered to
• Attend all meetings related to the Health Plan
• Maintains a working knowledge of the data system to run needed compliance reports
• Manges staff in the evaluation and delivery of children’s mental health services to include higher level of care multi-disciplinary staffing's and attendance at treatment team meetings
• Assignment and tracking of Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments (CBHA) on a rotation basis to the assessors
• Reviews CBHA’s for accuracy and appropriate diagnosis upon the CBHA being received back
• Submits claims to the Health Plan for completed CBHA’s
• Submit invoices to Kids Central upon payment from the Health Plan being received
• Ensure timelines are being adhered to as set forth in Medicaid guidelines, policy and procedure, etc.
• Signs off clinically on CBHA’s once the review has occurred and CBHA is approved
• Manages workload among assessors

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience

Required: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or comparable human service field. Minimum of 3 years post-master’s degree experience, preferably in a related program or service delivery system. Professional Florida license in Mental Health (LMHC), Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Marriage or Family Therapy (LMFT). At least 3 years supervisory experience.

Please see COA standards for specific skills and knowledge that pertain to the program in which the employee is working. Must apply for and maintain a Florida Medicaid Number through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

Other Requirements

• Ability to successfully clear a Level II Background Screen as required by Florida Statute and DCF
• Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable by the agency’s current insurance carrier
• You must carry a personal smart phone with a data plan for business communications during and outside business hours
