TITLE: Face2Face Program Specialist
(Full time, must be available evenings)
SUMMARY:
The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating and participating in on-site interventions; assessments and referrals to meet the individual needs of adolescents and parents. Also participates in presentations to students of all ages about substance abuse.
RESPONSIBILITIES and ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
INTERVENTION RESPONSIBILITIES
1.) Communicates with all referral sources.
2.) Schedules appointments and participates in procedure for interventions.
3.) Makes appropriate referrals for both adolescents and families.
4.) Documents intervention results and maintains all required statistical information.
5.) Does follow up on all interventions.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE PRESENTATIONS
1.) Schedules presentations for schools and community organizations.
2.) Participates in presentations as a facilitator and an educator.
3.) Maintains all required statistical information on public presentations.
4.) Assists with alumni and patient scheduling as well as transportation for panel presentations.
OTHER DUTIES
1.) Provides educational presentations to adult audiences at times.
2.) Assist with special events when needed.
3.) Performs all other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
GENERAL DUTIES:
All duties and other work place activities shall be undertaken in a manner that is non-discriminatory and behavior toward co-workers and clients will demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competency.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Receives supervision from the Executive Director
Proficiency in the use of computers for:
Accurate record keeping, Power Point presentations, and communication with other staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with adolescents a MUST! NYS LMSW, LMHC, QHP, CASAC, CPP or CPS preferred. Degree in human services field a plus. Strong public speaking and organizational skills are also required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
