What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Child Development Teacher Assistant position at Kids for the Future Rogers?
We are looking for Seasonal ( April or May through 2nd week of August in order to support full time staff vacations) Pre-K Assistant Teacher , Infant Teacher and Floater to work in our Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) setting. The individuals would work with children ages 0-8 to provide a nurturing environment to prepare our children for Kindergarten/1st and 2nd grade and ultimately life.
This position is the best fit for someone with a heart for children with needs in the areas of Developmental Education, Speech, Physical, Occupational therapies, ABA or Nursing. Get experience for resumes, professional applications and reference letters.
Responsibilities
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Record students’ progress and provide feedback
- Maintain an orderly and clean classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents and therapists and participate in scheduled meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Provide ADLs and care for children.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students effectively
- Experience working with diverse learning needs, including autism and early intervention techniques is a plus but not required.
- Safety sensitive position - passed drug tests are a requirement.
- Passed background checks are a requirement.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
