Role Overview
As a Group Facilitator at Kids Thrive, you will play a vital role in leading groups and supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the Clinical Director. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity.
Responsibilities
As a Group Facilitator at Kids Thrive, you will play a vital role in leading groups and supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the Clinical Director. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide day treatment group services to children aged 3-10 with mental health difficulties.
- Assist therapists and other providers with daily program delivery, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.
- Complete daily clinical documentation of provided services, adhering to high standards of record-keeping.
- Collect all necessary information for quality and program performance measures, contributing to the growth and development of our services.
- Responsible for scheduling regular treatment team meetings and transition/discharge meetings when applicable, fostering open communication and collaboration among team members.
- Consistently collaborate with parent/guardians and other members of the treatment team, prioritizing family-centered care and support.
- Completion of all required educational and training courses, including Educational/Training Requirements, Milieu Management & Approach, Therapeutic Communication, and Early Childhood Mental Health.
