Adina ABA, a member of the New Vista family, is currently recruiting Part Time Registered Behavior Technicians.

The Role
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) brings passion, excitement, and collaboration to the table when working 1:1 with our clients. We believe that children learn best through play! Are you ready to apply your current skills as an RBT in an inviting and fun environment? With locations around the Dayton area, we are just the place for you!
Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm
- AM client 8a-12p
- Lunch 12p-12:30p Drive time 12:30p-1p
- PM client 1p-5p
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism preferred
- Experience working with physically aggressive children or adults preferred
- Certification in the use of standardized physical management strategies
- Basic Physical Requirements: Walking, Sitting, Standing for long periods of time, Kneeling, Balancing, Crawling, Running (for both fun and safety of clients), Lifting or carrying 50 lbs
What does the position look like?
- Individualized 1:1 play-based ABA therapy aligning with the client's individualized treatment plan
- Direct supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Student Trainer with small caseloads
- Function as an active participant in the client's treatment team through collaboration with clinical staff and family
- Teaching life skills (dressing, bathing, cooking, etc), appropriate social and play skills with peers, expanding food choices and preferences, communication, and target behavior reduction
- Leading group social activities to meet goals of multiple clients
- Maintenance of client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA laws
- Data collection and billing electronically
- Participation during Speech and Occupational therapies
