Job Duties / Essential Functions
1. Collaborate with the Program Director on the delivery of all clinical services to the clients within the program.
2. Within the assigned program, ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, professional conduct, mental health requirements and all policies and procedures are followed.
3. Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld based on policies and regulation.
4. Design, implement, and monitor new and innovate approaches in the delivery of clinical services to the client population.
5. Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall program.
6. Coordinate consultations, assessments, admissions, and utilization reviews with the noted departments, as needed. Participate in and help direct the weekly Staffing meetings with personnel to ensure meetings are focused, comprehensive, and appropriate in goal and discharge planning.
7. Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, development, and training of all clinical staff.
8. Provide supervision for licensure, or coordinate efforts with contracted staff to provide this supervision.
9. Provide oversight, supervision, and when necessary direct involvement with both internal and external customers, maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in our care.
10. Maintain professional licensure at the highest level permitted.
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences:
Master's Degree in a related clinical discipline and appropriate licensure required - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Minimum of 5 years of direct supervision in a clinical setting is required post masters degree.
Minimum of 2 years of direct treatment experience with children / adolescents required.
Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification required.
Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, flexible hours, and overtime as required.
Bilingual Proficiency (ability to communicate in written and oral form) in English and Spanish is required.
