Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not required at the time of hire; willingness to obtain is necessary.

Pay: $13.54 - $16.00 per hour
