Education and Qualifications for Assistant Director
Prior Management Experience or prior teaching experience, Child Development Associate or degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Manage staff, providing guidance and support to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with child development standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and center activities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain Child Development Associate Certification.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere that encourages professional development and teamwork among staff.
