Intake Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls from families as well as handling new referrals received from our referral sources
- Checking insurance eligibility
- Collaborating with other team members such as the Client Care Coordinator and Recruiter, to ensure that staffing and session coordination are a seamless process
- Handling any/all clients issues with sensitivity and adhering to all HIPAA requirements
- Collecting and Submitting Documents from families to the insurance company
- Maintain contact with families throughout the entire intake process
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service or client facing role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Experience in the ABA field is a plus
- Experience with the use of Central reach is a plus
