Our organization is looking for an Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the optometric field and be able to provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and record patient's vision acuity and refractive error.
- Perform all neccessary prescreening tests prior to patient's exam
- Assist optometrist with any clinical needs.
- Educate patients on contact lens care and safety.
- Maintain patient records and enter data into electronic health records systems.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual field tests, color vision tests, and retinal imaging.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
