THE POSITION:
The Director, Social Media Marketing will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business objectives across North America. As a consumer-focused, integrated marketing leader, you have the capability to make a brand stand out in today’s competitive marketplace.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications, Creative.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a content calendar that ensures consistent and engaging content across all social platforms - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and adjust strategies as needed.
- Define and maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice across all platforms.
- Drive growth-focused initiatives to grow followers and engagement.
- Work with internal teams and agencies to produce high-quality visual assets, including photos, videos, and user-generated content (UGC).
- Track content performance and optimize based on engagement metrics, audience feedback, and data analysis.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on social media campaigns, engagement, and growth.
- Test and experiment with new platforms, tools, and tactics to keep KIKO at the forefront of social media innovation.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in developing and executing GTM strategies, preferably in the beauty or CPG industry.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Meta, and emerging platforms.
- Expertise in affiliate marketing, influencer/celebrity partnerships, OOH media, TV, and community management.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead and execute large-scale disruptive events and product seeding initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. and general office computer skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
