Corporate Controller Position:

The corporate controller will oversee the accounting activities and financial reporting for kill crew’s ecommerce business. The corporate controller will work across the organization, interacting heavily with manufacturing, and operations. The corporate controller will manage the general accounting activities including daily cash control, monthly closing procedures, fixed asset management, and assisting in preparation of financial statements. The corporate controller maintains all accounting records and is responsible for development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information.

Corporate controller top priorities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial accounting including fixed asset detail, costs of gods sold, depreciation, bank reconciliations, general ledger and financial statement functions
• Oversee the monthly close process and entries, account reconciliations for multiple entities, preparation of GAAP basis consolidated financial statements, and management of daily banking activity
• Oversee sales tax returns and reconciliations of accounts
• Assist in annual fiscal year end audit and tax schedule preparation
• Support executive leadership on special projects as needed

Corporate Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP required
• Expert in Excel
• Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent follow through and a focus on quality
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and be a team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
• Ability to demonstrate and apply strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality within the organization and exhibit the highest degree of integrity

Corporate Controller Pluses:

• CPA
• Experience working in clothing industry
• Experience working with quickbooks
• Previous experience in a controller or assistant controller role
• Experience working with multiple entities, including foreign operations

Corporate Controller Compensation:

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with relative experience. The position is eligible for an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, Flexible Spending Account for Medical and Dependent Care, Health Savings Account, and 401(k) plan.
