Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lease Operator to join our team at Killam Companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining lease wellhead equipment, keeping accurate records of production, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on lease equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the performance of lease wellhead equipment, ensuring optimal production levels.
- Keep accurate records of production, including daily data from lease oil and gas measurement equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lease equipment, including replacing defective valve seats and minor repairs to stop leaks.
- Read and record daily data from lease oil and gas measurement equipment, complete required paperwork, and enter daily production readings and well test readings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical or vocational training preferred.
- At least two to five years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair within an oil and gas production plant/facility.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical panels, gas engines, testers, phase separators, water knock outs, heaters, and stock tank equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills, basic mathematical skills, and ability to read and understand maintenance/operations manuals.
