Kimball Equipment Company, a recognized leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is seeking a Corporate Rental Sales Manager to drive the continued expansion of our rental business. As one of the largest independently owned aggregate dealers in the country, we are committed to providing top-tier solutions for our customers. This role is instrumental in managing and growing rental sales across multiple states.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong sales drive with ability to close deals.
- Passion for continuous improvement and business growth.
- Experience in sales management related to portable crushing and screening equipment; experience with track machines is a plus.
- Strong background in Aggregate applications is preferred although not required.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Must live in (or willingness to relocate to) CA, AZ, OR, WA, UT, ID, or NV.
- Sales & Customer Support: Provide application-based sales support, helping customers and the internal sales team select the right equipment for their specific needs.
- Manufacturer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturers, ensuring strong vendor relationships.
- Fleet & Equipment Management:
- Improve equipment utilization through strategic fleet management.
- Collaborate with the Capital Sales Director to determine when and what to order based on market trends.
- Pricing & Valuation: Understand equipment values and contribute to rental pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
- Service & Repairs Coordination:
- Work closely with the service department to ensure rental equipment is returned, billed, and repaired in a timely manner.
- Work with the Service Director on capitalization decisions.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all rental equipment leaving Kimball Equipment locations has proper insurance documentation.
- Technical Support: Assist with equipment startups as needed, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
