Kimball International is looking for someone to serve as a Salesforce Platform Developer. This role will be a key member on our team as we look to extend and enhance our Salesforce.com capabilities and experience. You will be relied upon for your ability to develop efficient, effective and secure solutions on the Salesforce core platform. You will assist in architecting good solutions within the Salesforce core platform as well as integrations with third party apps. You will help establish best practices for custom development and devops within the Salesforce ecosystem. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a sustainable foundation of connected systems that enable us to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Preferred skill set:
- Experience with designing and building custom solutions on the Salesforce.com platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, specifically Azure Logic Apps and Azure API Management
- Experience with security protocols, including SAML, OAUTH 2.0, LDAP
- Experience with database development, specifically Microsoft SQL Server
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Design / build custom solutions in the Salesforce.com platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Collaborate with and assist Saleforce.com Admins / Declarative Developers with solution design and development
- Establish a DevOps practice in Salesforce.com
- Partner with internal and external / off shore software development teams to deliver specified solutions
For candidates, not local and outside of a commutable distance, this position may be fully remote and will require to be onsite at our Jasper, IN headquarters at least one week per quarter. For candidates, that are local or within a commutable distance, a hybrid work location arrangement will be considered with Mondays and Fridays remote and Tuesdays through Thursdays in office at our Jasper, IN headquarters.
Requirements:Required qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related qualification.
- 3-4 years experience developing on the Salesforce.com core platform using technology such as Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and API based integrations.
