About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our Central Stores team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity and cost-effectiveness of machine parts across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain management tools, analytics, and reporting to support the optimization of inventory levels, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain efficiency.
- Provide functional leadership in applying stores and spare parts management processes, ensuring technical subject matter expertise, coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and stores functions to recommend optimal stocking levels of spare parts, identify alternative solutions, and improve inventory management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics Data Science, or demonstrated experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, data science, and analytical connected tools expertise, including Access, Excel, and VBA.
- Demonstrated SAP Subject Matter Expertise level knowledge and capability.
