Material engineering Co-Ops have the opportunity to apply scientific and engineering practices to product, medical devices, process, and material design and development. Experimentation could be conducted in a laboratory, manufacturing, or product use environment. Candidates may work with advanced technologies in polymers, surfactants, absorbency, fibers, nonwoven materials, and other fields for design and manufacture of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products are leveraged to create new benefits, to solve current problems, and/or to maintain existing products. Considerable interaction with representatives of engineering and manufacturing is required in meeting project objectives.

In one of our co-op roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • GPA: 3.0 cumulative or higher

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or another related field and completion of 1-1/2 years of college courses.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis

  • Co-op/intern positions are not eligible for sponsorship and the successful candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States without KC’s sponsorship now AND in the future

  • Previous Co-op/Intern experience is a plus

Starting Hourly Wage: $24.00 USD

Total rewards at Kimberly-Clark includes the above starting wage offer and is eligible for overtime pay. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
