About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team, reporting directly to the Microbiology Laboratory Manager and the Quality Manager. The successful candidate will apply broad expertise in microbiology and quality management systems to support sanitary manufacturing and operate the facility's microbiological laboratory. Key responsibilities include conducting routine and non-routine microbiological testing, ensuring compliance with established Good Lab Practices (GLP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and managing micro team testing/results/record management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline, with 5 years of prior relevant experience in a regulated industrial microbiology lab or sanitarian role. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, good lab practices, environmental monitoring, and trending of data. Prior experience with LIMS software / ETQ software / SAP software is also essential.
