What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor/Social Worker for Therapeutic Horse Program position at Kimberly Farms?
Seeking counselor licensed to practice independently (LMHC, LICSW, etc.) licensed in the state of VT to assist with EAGALA program at horse barn in Shaftsbury, VT. We are expanding our programming to include an equine assisted therapy program and we have an EAGALA-certified horse instructor who is looking to partner with a mental health professional. See link for more information about the EAGALA program: https://www.eagala.org/ Candidate does not need to be EAGALA-certified, and we are able to mentor to assist in obtaining certification if desired. Counselor who has some interested in horses/equine assisted therapy is preferred, but not required. Anticipate 2-3 hours per day, 2 days per week, though this is flexible.
