What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Kimble?
This position exclusively operates heavy equipment used in spreading, covering, loading, and/or compacting waste in an efficient and safe manner to support the maintenance of our transfer station.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
- 3 years' experience running wheel loaders
- Regularly stand for long periods of time
- Able to bend, stoop, climb, reach
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Work in an outdoor or in an industrial shop environment
Responsibilities and Duties for Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Ability to operate dozer, front end loader, excavator, articulated trucks, end dumps, grader, and scraper as needed
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections on all equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs if needed
- Ability to perform manual labor including picking up trash, setting water pumps, and dragging hose
- Please note this could be a fairly labor-intensive position that requires working outside in all weather conditions and some heavy lifting is required.
