Key Duties For The Senior Accountant
- Responsible for the monthly close process, including the booking of the journal entries and the balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconciliation of the sub-ledgers for all GL accounts
- Responsible for bank reconciliations, monthly GL account reconciliations, prepaids and other intercompany accounts
- Calculations and preparing of royalty billings and payments
- Intercompany company reconciliations
- Quarterly and yearly audits and handling foreign currency
- Month-end close and monthly financials
- BA/BS in Accounting/Finance
- MBA and CPA is strong preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup/pivots/formulas/if statements)
- Strong GAAP and IFRS technical accounting
- Foreign currency experience highly desired
