Overview

Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) office is seeking a Construction Engineer / Project Manager with 8 years of experience to join their Data Center team! This is not a remote position and will require regular travel to the Lehigh Valley site.

Responsibilities

  • Site visits
  • PCSM inspections with documentation
  • Close outs : CS forms, as-builts, EPS Coordination, etc.
  • Respond to RFI's and submittals
  • Join OAC calls
  • Coordinate with client construction team, CM, GC, site subcontractors, third party reviewers, etc.
  • Assist in field revision design / coordination
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
  • You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
  • You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors

Qualifications

  • 8 years of relevant engineering construction engineering experience in some combination of industrial, institutional, manufacturing, commercial, renewable energy, power generation, and data center projects
  • Experience with PCSM inspections, documentation, punch walks, and close out efforst with general contractors and owners
  • Experience responding to RFI's and submittals
  • Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is a plus
  • CPESC preferred or ability to obtain
  • PennDOT close out experience is a plus
  • Must be a US citizen to conduct the work required of this role
