This hands-on position will involve managing financial compliance, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with record-keeping and reporting for various funding streams. This role requires the ability to quickly learn new processes, manage tasks from start to finish, and leverage technology to drive improvements and achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering results.
Accountant Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
A minimum of five years of experience with accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Demonstrated project management experience with attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proficiency with technology including Microsoft 365 office suite including Excel, required; Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology, strongly preferred
Demonstrated community involvement, preferred
