Who are we?

Founded in 2009, Creative Snacks Co. (CSC) is a maker of healthy natural and organic snacks. The Creative Snacks brand is sold in the United States, Canada, and Caribbean along with some private label and bulk products. The product portfolio includes branded and private label self-manufactured decadent snack clusters, snack trail mixes, dried fruits and nuts, and coated pretzels. Opened in January 2017, the High Point/Greensboro North Carolina plant is a 92,000 square foot climate controlled facility. Operations include a bakery, mixing, rigid container and pouch primary packaging, secondary package customization, warehousing, and customer order fulfillment. In October 2019, KIND LLC acquired the Creative Snacks business. In November 2020, Mars, Incorporated acquired full ownership in KIND LLC.



Shift: First Shift

As the Warehouse Process Lead - Shipping, you will be responsible for outbound logistics activities, the execution of shipping services and compliance documentation activities required for outbound shipping activities. You will coordinate activities related to inventory movement of finished goods within the warehouse. This is how you’ll do it…

• Ship orders in Deacom as carriers arrive for pickup of the shipments and compile all shipping documentation
• Enter shipments into Uber Freight for loads shipping to KIND DCs
• Update orders based on production results (shortages or missed productivity) and update Uber Freight
• Solicit, monitor, and respond to pick up appointment requests via email made by Uber Freight, carriers and customers
• Update shipping calendar in Deacom with up-to-date info regarding carrier, freight type, pickup time etc.
• Use forklift to load outbound shipments onto carrier trailers
• Print orders that are to be picked for the day, assign to pickers and then master lot those orders when complete
• Coordinate the movement of finished goods from packaging production into warehouse storage locations
• Competent in internal ERP system for proper rotation, traceability, and shipping records
• Maintain safe and efficient warehouse conditions while emphasizing safety as top priority
• Communicate, problem solve, make sound decisions, prioritize work, organize, and get the necessary information from relevant sources when necessary
• Responsible for all documentation pertaining to shipping
• Ensure that all policies, procedures, and regulations are observed by warehouse team members
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Responsible for understanding and complying with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (i.e. SQF)
• Reports all Food Safety and Quality issues immediately and directly to the QA Dept.

Physical Demands:

• Use hands to perform production tasks and complete required paperwork
• Constantly stand and walk about work area for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds throughout the day
• Ability to push and pull manual / electronic pallet jacks
• Wearing of proper PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes for duration of shift

Experience and Skills:

You have…

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing
• Previous forklift operator certification
• Demonstrated de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Strong, effective verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate non-verbally with team members speaking many languages
• Strong systems aptitude; proficient in Microsoft office applications with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Prior experience with ERP system required; Redzone experience a plus
