Accounts Payable Accountant

Position Summary:  

Processes accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. Records and posts payments received and makes payments for vendor invoices and other debts owed by the organization. Verifies amounts owed and received and ensures that transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable and receivable ledger accounts. Prepares reports of delinquent accounts and responds to customer/vendor inquiries.

Location:

Corporate Office - Santa Ana, CA.  Hybrid schedule may be available.

Pay Disclosure:

The starting base hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - 33.50 per hour. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. 

Responsibilities: 

Collect, print, batch, scan and process vendor invoices daily.  

• Analyze and process a high volume of invoices with a low quantity of errors.  
• Performs necessary research, acquires correct information and solves invoice issues with clear communication, both verbally and written format, to ensure timely resolution.  
• Process 2 way and 3 way match purchase orders invoices, non po invoices, and assist with coding and identifying tax categories as well as the preparation of payments. 

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma (required) 
• 5 years of Accounts Payable experience  
• Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Major ERP experience- Oracle preferred 
• Excellent attention to detail 

Work Authorization:

Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S. without a visa sponsorship.
