About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Teacher to join our team as a Child Development Coach. As a key member of our learning center, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters growth and development in children aged 5-12. You'll work closely with administrators, teachers, and parents to implement our research-backed curriculum and deliver exceptional experiences that meet the unique needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom
- Model behaviors and provide feedback to promote positive relationships and academic success
- Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, inclusive environment where children can play, learn, and grow
- Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Approved state trainer (preferred)
- 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
