As a Lead Teacher at KinderCare Learning Companies, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences and building community in dynamic work environments and diverse communities from coast to coast. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child. You will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, modeling behaviors and providing feedback. You will also create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will partner and connect with parents, working together to provide the best care and education for their children. You will support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. You will also cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Requirements:
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
