Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards, curriculum goals, and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages learning.
- Provide individualized attention to students and support those requiring additional assistance.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns related to childcare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience working with children in a classroom, daycare, or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
