As a Metrology Manager you will play a critical role in leading and directing the metrology department, ensuring the highest standards of measurement accuracy and compliance. You will oversee the site metrology program, driving operational excellence through precise monitoring, reporting of key metrics and KPIs, and adherence to corporate metrology guidance. With a strategic mindset, you will develop and implement metrology initiatives that enhance efficiency, support business objectives, and foster continuous improvement across the organization
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and a successful track record for managing a metrology program.
Knowledge in operation and calibration devices in water for injection systems, clean steam systems, classified and unclassified area HVAC systems, compressed air systems, aseptic syringe filling equipment, autoclaves, depyrogenation equipment, automated visual inspection equipment, and typical packaging line component equipment.

With a strategic mindset, you will develop and implement metrology initiatives that enhance efficiency, support business objectives, and foster continuous improvement across the organization
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the site metrology team and program
- Assists with developing, tracking, reporting and reacting to appropriate metrics for measuring and improving success of site metrology strategy.
- Provides coaching and mentoring for metrology engineers & managers to assist in their development in executing and managing metrology related activities.
- Collaborates with site senior leaders to ensure the mission, objectives, and strategies are executed consistently and to the fullest extent to support the site as intended and outlined in service level agreements with the customer groups.
- Assist with assessing metrology engineering resources needed to maintain and improve the site metrology program.
- Prepares weekly and monthly KPI to monitor program performance.
- Prepare documents for agency, internal, corporate and third-party inspections; appear before inspectors/auditors to answer questions
- Represents the metrology program to both site and above site governance.
- BS in Engineering or related field or 10 years’ experience in a metrology program
- 5 years of management experience
- 8 years plus pharmaceutical industry experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires frequent standing.
- Lifting weights up to 25 lbs.
- Able to access to interstitial spaces/crawl spaces
