Sonographer (AB & OB/GYN) – Burlington, VT

Sign-On & Relocation Bonus: Up to $15,000
Job Summary:
The Staff Sonographer performs routine and complex ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves to create clear images of the body. This role requires strong technical skills to adjust ultrasound machines effectively and ensure optimal imaging, even in challenging conditions where lung, bone, or gas may interfere with sound waves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasounds in AB (Abdomen) & OB/GYN specialties
- Adjust imaging techniques to optimize clarity & diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate with physicians & peers for accurate assessments
- Tailor exams based on patient needs & medical conditions
- Ensure high standards in patient care & imaging safety
Requirements:
- ARDMS Registered with ABD or OB/GYN credential
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a certified CAAHEP program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a two-year allied health equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of paid scanning experience
