Job Position Profile
The entry level manufacturing engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to the manufacturing operation on a daily basis. This position will also support the development of new processes, improving existing processes and implementing process changes.
Duties Include
Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts

Duties Include
- Support the creation of process documentation and operating instructions.
- Design manufacturing fixtures and tooling, create finished drawings.
- Work closely with engineering quality and operations associates to identify and implement process improvements.
- Perform time studies as needed to update standard travelers and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve manufacturability and reduce scrap.
- Assist the quality department with non-conformance investigation including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Provide support to MRB documentation development as needed.
- Associate degree in an engineering field or High school diploma and 3 years minimum experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D cad software and Microsoft office suite
- Ability to read and understand blueprint requirements.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have ability to read applicable customer/Tell Tool documents with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
