Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Document and improve accounting procedures.
- Ensure accounts payable are processed and paid on time.
- Supervise financial reporting, billing, payroll, and budgeting.
- Complete accurate, timely bank reconciliations.
- Verify trial balance and key account balances monthly.
- Provide financial analysis and insights as needed.
- Prepare or oversee financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and reports.
- Manage daily reconciliation of customer payments.
- Assist leadership with financial projects and reporting.
- Maintain branch rosters and oversee postage meter processes.
- Coordinate annual 1099 processing and compliance reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting.
- Minimum of one year of management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with accounting software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
