PART TIME Bookkeeper and Logistics Specialist
Kinetic Staffing seeking a PART TIME (20 hrs.) & TEMPORARY detail-oriented professional to join our team in a dual-role position that combines financial record management with logistics and shipping operations.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Utilize Xero accounting software to accurately record and manage all financial transactions
- Input sales invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and payments with precise categorization
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments
- Manage accounts receivable by generating and tracking customer invoices
- Generate comprehensive financial reports (profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements)
- Process payroll data, including calculating deductions and taxes
- Maintain compliance with current accounting standards and financial regulations
Logistics and Shipping:
- Manage complete shipment and receipt process for all company products
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments to verify product types and quantities
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation for outgoing orders
- Pack customer orders securely and professionally
- Drop off customer shipments at FedEx, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Scan and sort incoming and outgoing stock
- Receive, stock, and stack inventory items
- Pull, pack, and load products for shipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Xero accounting software features and functions
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts)
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory management
- Proficient analytical skills to review financial data and identify potential issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Relevant accounting or bookkeeping certification preferred
- Prior experience with Xero accounting software and logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and moving inventory items
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
