We are seeking a Senior Accountant for an emerging growth Southeastern regional company based in the metro Jackson area with manufacturing, finance, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements that foster efficiency and growth.
Job Duties
- Review and process transactions, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Implement continued improvements to help drive business growth.
- Provide hands-on accounting support for month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations.
- Handle AP / AR, cash receipts, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee payroll, utilities, treasury, and budgeting tasks.
- Perform cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Reconcile capital assets, trust account statements, and manage check runs.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
- Assist with annual audit preparation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Read and interpret financial statements from a managerial perspective.
- Solid grasp or strong interest in the intricacies of manufacturing and / or retail operations.

Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
