Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Fleet Manager plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and complaint operation of the company’s fleet, which is essential to the oil and gas field activities. This position is responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, schedules and fleet performance optimization.
Manage and oversee fleet operations in both Texas and New Mexico.
Work closely with operations to ensure support aligns with organizational objectives and timelines.
Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements, including licensing, permits, and safety inspections.
Oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for fleet vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Track and evaluate vehicle performance metrics such as fuel efficiency, downtimes, and mileage.
Coordinate schedules and assign vehicles to drivers to ensure operational efficiency.
Monitor and manage fuel consumption, including analyzing usage trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Document and report accidents, breakdowns, and safety incidents while collaborating with the safety team to mitigate risk.
Utilize routing and GPS technology to streamline
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle registrations, insurance, maintenance history and driver logs.
All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Min of 2 years of related experience
Experience utilizing Fleet Management software and GPS systems such as Enterprise, Geotab and Motive is preferred
Able to handle high volumes of inbound communications
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to be resourceful and proactive throughout workday
Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills and decision-making abilities; taking initiative and capable of both autonomic and team environments
Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
Proven track record of making rational decisions in both routine and emergency situations
Ability to perform in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
Keen analytical skills, attention to detail and knowledge of time/distance geography preferred
Working Conditions:
Available to attend in-person and field meetings as needed.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 15 lbs. on a consistent basis.
