We are seeking a strategic and hands-on People Services Director to lead human resources initiatives across multiple healthcare facilities. This role is a key partner to the executive leadership team, driving HR strategy while also managing day-to-day operational responsibilities. The Director will oversee employee relations, compensation management, performance management, training, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee and manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Lead compensation and performance management programs.
- Drive training and leadership development initiatives.
- Collaborate with centralized HR services for recruitment, benefits administration, and HR system management.
- Provide guidance on HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Act as a hands-on leader within a small HR team, assisting in daily operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field).
- 5 years of healthcare (hospital) human resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance (Title VII, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
- Experience working within a corporate healthcare system is a plus.
- Candidates from Tennessee and northern Alabama are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
- Bonus: Up to 10% annual based on organizational goals
