Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:

• Unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Inspect received items for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
• Properly document received goods and update inventory systems.

Inventory Management:

• Accurately label and store products in designated locations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counts.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
• Use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize inventory.

Shipping:

• Prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Load shipments onto delivery vehicles, ensuring secure and efficient packing.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and schedule pickups as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (Certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
• Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, walking upstairs, and working at heights (second floor).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• At least 2 years of experience.

Work Environment:

• The warehouse environment may be subject to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required for certain tasks.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
