What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort?
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort has an opportunity for a Dining Room Server! Located in the beautiful Golden Isles and on property at The King and Prince Resort, ECHO offers a one-of-a-kind locale for locally sourced cuisine in a relaxed, oceanside atmosphere, standing out strong among St. Simons Island restaurants. With both indoor and outdoor dining options, you can take in panoramic views of the sea in a uniquely scenic setting, complemented by exciting twists on Southern favorites.
In this position you will be responsible for contributing to customer satisfaction by ensuring all customers are served food and beverage items to the standards of The King and Prince Resort. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining a thorough knowledge of all menu items to respond properly to customers questions; using pre-approved selling techniques for premium products; performing opening and closing procedures along with side work; and resolving guest complaints by performing service recovery when applicable.
The ideal candidate will preferably have two to three (2-3) years of previous serving experience at a large resort or comparable restaurant/property; capability to multitask and work in high-volume environment; ablity to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; and have excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a tipped position.
