Job Description
King Construction in Iowa Falls is looking for an Office Manager.
1. Payroll - Summarize and allocate transaction details by account, department, division, location, and job code as it pertains to payroll.
2. Accounts Receivable - Maintain clean customer master files by entering customer data and other sales data. This will include invoicing and monthly statements.
3. Accounts Payable - Scanning in invoices and posting as needed.
4. Manage the reception area and take care of walk-in customers. Have the ability to effectively handle telephone, email, and mail while maintaining a professional image.
5. Responsible for collecting customer information for service calls and creating work orders in our software system.
6. Maintain the office filing system.
7. Assist the HR department with onboarding new hires and employee benefits management.
8. Assist in planning and executing staff meetings and events.
9. Ordering all office supplies and supervising the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
10. Participate as needed in special department projects.

Work Environment
This job operates in a casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch.

Required Education and Experience
Education:
- AA degree (Preferred)
- High School or Equivalent
Experience:
- Payroll Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Willing to train the right person.
