King County's Metro Transit Capital Division is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a talented team of professionals and shape the future of sustainable public transportation. If you are passionate about empowering others, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful projects, we invite you to join our team!

As the Electrical Engineering Supervisor (Transit Capital Supervisor), you will oversee a team of 5-6 skilled electrical engineers working on a diverse range of critical capital projects. These projects include State of Good Repair initiatives, Trolley Systems, Bus Electrification efforts, and Zero-Emissions programs, among others. Your role will be pivotal in advancing the team's success through effective project assignment, strategic guidance, and staff development.

The Capital Division plays a key role in delivering groundbreaking programs, such as Zero Emissions (ZE) infrastructure. We are leading the charge in electrifying bus bases and establishing opportunity charging along transit corridors. Transitioning to a fully electrified fleet is a monumental effort that will require close collaboration across every division within King County Metro.

In this role, you'll work hand in hand with the capital planning and delivery sections to design and implement base conversion efforts. This includes designing bases and on-route layovers, installing charging infrastructure, and introducing advanced software solutions. You'll also collaborate with vehicle maintenance, facilities, and mobility divisions to bring zero-emissions services to life.

Additionally, the Capital Division ensures regular maintenance and upgrades to keep Metro's facilities in top condition, supporting safe, efficient, and reliable transit operations. By incorporating green building and sustainable practices into every capital project, Metro demonstrates a steadfast commitment to creating a brighter, greener future for all.
