Summary
King County Department of Information Technology (KCIT) is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join our team! The Enterprise Data Architect is a member of the KCIT Data & Analytics division. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership, design, and consultation to continuously improve data platforms, delivering business value, and supporting essential business functionality. This role concentrates on data governance, open data, and other domain specific areas to be defined.

Job Duties
- Expanding Enterprise-wide Data Capabilities
Provide architecture guidance and solutions to develop data platforms and governance processes.
Establish and maintain standards and guidelines for use across KCIT and the enterprise. This includes standards, processes and best practices for data quality, data governance, metadata, data models, sources of truth, and other related areas.
Architect solutions to ingest data into the platform to improve, grow and maintain King County's open data platform.
Serve as a technical lead and act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams. Including partners.

The work associated with this position will be performed through a combination of onsite work and telecommuting. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Work Schedule
The normal workweek for this position is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is FLSA Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.
